Many young children have missed school or dropped out at an early age, often due to the loss of one or both parents. In some cases, both parents are present but unable to afford school fees. Through TUPS, 17 children in Kampala Central are now receiving school fees support, along with parental and spiritual care from Christian Model Ministries.
School Fees (Kampala)
Partnering with CMM, TUPS aims to disciple communities and impact the nation at large. We are praying and trusting, looking at these young ones as future leaders, church ministers, and more, and they should then be able to educate and parent their own children so that the Uganda future generations will live in hope and in Christ.
Besides this, for most Ugandans, the day you stop working (retire) is the very day you stop earning. Since most individuals do not have investments and retirement benefits, TUPS having a programme that educates their children and grandchildren helps these kids as they can grow and take care of their parents during old age.
Our hope and prayer is that in the near future, this program will be able to accommodate/help a bigger number of such needy children.
